For engineering, manufacturing and product businesses with 10 to 50 staff. I find where money leaks in pricing, quoting, cash, purchasing and admin, then fix the process and automate it. Fixed prices, agreed before we start.
Why Insight, Foresight and Oversight? Al-Basir, one of the names of Allah, means the All-Seeing. The packages follow the same idea: see clearly where you stand, see what’s coming, and have someone experienced keep watch.

What typically gets fixed
Each engagement picks the problems that cost you most. Every fix has a number measured before and after: days, hours, margin or cash.
Win more, at the right price
- Slow quotes that never get chased
- Prices that lag material and labour costs
- Past customers who quietly stopped ordering
- Tenders you don’t bid for, or don’t win
Get paid faster, spend less
- Invoices sent days after the job
- Customers who pay late
- Supplier spend nobody checks
- Cash tied up in slow stock
Stop re-keying and firefighting
- Orders typed in two or three times
- Sales promising dates the workshop can’t hit
- Everything waiting for the owner
- Reports built by hand in Excel, and paper forms
Tools
I work with the systems small manufacturers and engineering firms already run: Xero, QuickBooks, Sage 50, NetSuite, SAP Business One, Microsoft Dynamics 365, HubSpot, Salesforce, Airtable, Power BI, Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace. Automations are built in tools you already use or low-cost ones you own. Software subscriptions are paid by you directly, and nothing is locked to me.
Tender support
Public sector buyers now have to make it easier for small businesses to bid, and more contracts are split into smaller lots.
- Bid or no-bid review, £295: whether a specific tender is worth your time, and what it would take to win
- Tender-ready pack, £950: registration on the government’s tender platform, plus reusable answers on your company, experience, quality and social value
- Bid writing, from £1,950: pricing strategy and the written response, quoted per tender by size
Charities
Charities with income over £1m can have any package at 20% off. For a small UK charity, 2020 to 2021: income rose from £47k to £89k. The main changes were a crowdfunding campaign that grew from £2k to £25k, £5.5k a year of Gift Aid that had never been claimed, and £10.5k secured through the government’s Kickstart scheme. Fixed costs fell by a third.
What I don’t do
I don’t give mortgage, investment or other regulated financial advice, and I don’t prepare accounts, tax returns or legal documents. When you need those, I’ll point you to a qualified professional.
Prices exclude VAT if VAT applies. Not sure which package fits? The free call is for exactly that.
